1. Ownership Declaration

I, Johhannas Reyn, am the creator and owner of the Promptin.app website, platform concept, written content, software code, user interface designs, workflow structures, documentation, graphics, branding materials, prompt templates, generated platform assets, and related intellectual property, except where third-party libraries, services, APIs, or user-submitted content are expressly identified.

Promptin.app is an original software platform designed to help users create, organize, manage, version, customize, execute, and potentially distribute AI prompt workflows and related digital assets.

All original content, source code, object code, architecture, written materials, visual designs, database schema designs, UI/UX layouts, workflow builder designs, marketplace structures, documentation, prompt examples, marketing materials, and other creative works authored by Johhannas Reyn are protected by applicable copyright law from the moment of creation.

Promptin.app, including but not limited to its source code, interface design, written content, documentation, workflow templates, prompt structures, original graphics, product descriptions, database design expression, website layout, branding assets, and related materials, is protected by United States and international copyright laws.

No part of Promptin.app may be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed, publicly displayed, reverse engineered, republished, scraped, mirrored, sold, sublicensed, incorporated into another product, or used to create a derivative work without the prior written permission of Johhannas Reyn, except as expressly allowed by applicable law or by written license.

3. Protected Works

The protected works associated with Promptin.app include, but are not limited to:

1. Website source code, including frontend and backend code.
2. Database schema expression, model relationships, and original organization of data structures.
3. User interface layouts, visual arrangement, icons, design elements, and interactive components.
4. Written documentation, tutorials, onboarding text, help content, marketing copy, and legal pages.
5. Prompt workflow templates, authored prompt examples, prompt metadata structures, versioning descriptions, and workflow configuration formats.
6. Original product names, slogans, visual branding elements, logos, screenshots, diagrams, and platform imagery.
7. Original marketplace descriptions, listing structures, category descriptions, and platform-specific taxonomy.
8. Original audio, video, image, and media assets created for or hosted by Promptin.app.
9. Original compilations, collections, arrangements, and selections of platform content.

4. Reservation of Rights

All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

No license, assignment, or ownership interest is granted by viewing, accessing, testing, using, referencing, or interacting with Promptin.app. Access to the website does not grant any right to copy, clone, imitate, reproduce, scrape, train on, distribute, commercialize, or otherwise exploit any protected material.

Unauthorized use of Promptin.app materials may violate copyright law, trademark law, unfair competition law, trade secret law, contract law, and other applicable laws.

5. Protection of Platform Concept & Confidential Materials

While copyright law does not protect abstract ideas, systems, procedures, methods, or concepts, it does protect the original expression of those ideas. The particular implementation, written description, structure, organization, code, interface, content, and creative expression of Promptin.app are protected.

Any confidential or non-public materials related to Promptin.app, including but not limited to technical designs, architecture notes, unreleased features, private repositories, business plans, monetization strategies, AI workflow logic, marketplace mechanisms, internal documentation, and roadmap materials, are considered proprietary and confidential.

No person or entity may use confidential Promptin.app materials to develop, launch, assist, fund, advise, copy, or contribute to a competing or derivative product without written permission.

6. Source Code Protection

The source code for Promptin.app is proprietary and confidential unless expressly released under a separate written open-source license.

No person may copy, reproduce, decompile, reverse engineer, extract, redistribute, modify, train AI models on, or create derivative works from the Promptin.app source code without written authorization.

This restriction applies to all frontend code, backend code, API routes, database schema files, configuration files, workflow builder logic, user interface components, authentication logic, marketplace logic, prompt execution logic, and deployment-related code authored for Promptin.app.

7. Prompt & Workflow Content

Prompt templates, workflow templates, sample prompts, curated prompt structures, metadata formats, instructional examples, UI-generated workflow definitions, and related authored materials created by Promptin.app or Johhannas Reyn are proprietary unless otherwise stated.

Users may retain ownership of original content they create and upload, subject to Promptin.app’s Terms of Service. However, no user obtains ownership of Promptin.app’s underlying software, workflow engine, platform design, marketplace structure, interface, proprietary formatting, or system architecture.

8. AI-Generated Outputs

Outputs produced through Promptin.app’s AI generation features (e.g., images, text, audio) belong to the user who initiated the generation, subject to:

1. Third-party provider terms. Outputs are generated through third-party AI providers (such as Pollinations, OpenAI, and other inference services accessed via Promptin.app), each of which imposes its own terms of use, content policies, and license restrictions. The user’s rights in an output are no broader than the underlying provider grants.
2. Copyright law. Under current United States Copyright Office guidance, purely machine-generated works without sufficient human authorship may not be eligible for copyright protection. Users should not rely on the assumption that any AI-generated output is automatically protected by copyright.
3. User responsibility. The user is responsible for ensuring that any output they use, publish, distribute, or commercialize does not infringe the rights of any third party (including rights-holders whose works may have influenced the AI model), violate the AI provider’s content policy, or breach applicable law.

Promptin.app does not claim ownership over user-generated outputs. Promptin.app may retain outputs on its servers as needed to provide the service (display in the user’s gallery, history, billing reconciliation, debugging, abuse investigation, and routine backups).

9. AI Training Prohibition

No portion of Promptin.app — including its source code, user interface, written content, documentation, prompt templates, workflow definitions, marketplace listings, branding assets, or any other materials accessible through the platform — may be used to train, fine-tune, evaluate, benchmark, distill, align, or otherwise develop any artificial intelligence model, machine learning system, or derived dataset, whether by automated crawling, manual collection, or any other means, without prior written authorization from Johhannas Reyn.

This prohibition applies to all third parties, including AI providers, model developers, dataset compilers, research organizations, and commercial operators. It is in addition to, and not in lieu of, any restrictions imposed by applicable copyright law, contract, or platform terms.

Scope clarification. This section prohibits using Promptin.app’s content as input data for AI model development. It does not prohibit Promptin.app’s own runtime use of third-party AI provider APIs to fulfill user-initiated generations (i.e., inference / model serving is explicitly permitted; training, fine-tuning, evaluation, and dataset compilation are not).

10. Third-Party Materials

Promptin.app may use third-party libraries, frameworks, APIs, SDKs, tools, AI providers, hosting providers, payment providers, or open-source packages. Those third-party materials remain subject to their respective licenses and ownership terms.

Nothing in this declaration claims ownership over third-party software, third-party APIs, third-party trademarks, third-party models, or user-owned content.

11. Trademark & Brand Notice

“Promptin,” “Promptin.app,” the Promptin name, associated logos, slogans, branding, product identity, and trade dress are claimed as proprietary brand identifiers of Johhannas Reyn.

Use of the Promptin name, logo, branding, confusingly similar names, or visual identity in connection with competing services, AI prompt platforms, marketplaces, workflow tools, software products, or related commercial activity is prohibited without written permission.

Federal trademark registration may be pursued separately through the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). Trademarks generally protect brand names and logos used with goods or services, while copyright protects original creative works and patents protect inventions.

12. Prohibited Conduct

The following conduct is prohibited without prior written authorization:

1. Copying, cloning, or recreating Promptin.app’s website, UI, workflows, or marketplace structure.
2. Scraping, crawling, harvesting, or bulk downloading Promptin.app content.
3. Copying or modifying source code, compiled code, API logic, database structures, or workflow logic.
4. Using Promptin.app materials to train, fine-tune, evaluate, or improve AI models.
5. Rebranding Promptin.app materials as another product or service.
6. Creating derivative works based on Promptin.app’s protected expression.
7. Using Promptin branding, logos, names, or confusingly similar marks.
8. Circumventing access controls, authentication systems, licensing systems, or usage restrictions.
9. Publishing, leaking, selling, or transferring private Promptin.app materials.
10. Reverse engineering the platform except where expressly permitted by law.

13. Enforcement

Johhannas Reyn reserves the right to enforce all available rights and remedies under applicable law, including but not limited to:

• DMCA takedown notices.
• Cease and desist demands.
• Copyright infringement claims.
• Trademark infringement or unfair competition claims.
• Breach of contract claims.
• Trade secret misappropriation claims.
• Injunctive relief.
• Monetary damages.
• Recovery of fees and costs where available.

A valid notice should include: identification of the copyrighted work, identification of the allegedly infringing material and where it appears on Promptin.app, your contact information, a good-faith statement that the use is not authorized, a statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the rights holder, and a physical or electronic signature.

15. Governing Law & Venue

This declaration and all matters arising out of or relating to Promptin.app shall be governed by the laws of the State of California and the federal laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Exclusive jurisdiction and venue for any dispute arising out of or relating to this declaration or to Promptin.app shall lie in the state or federal courts located in Riverside County, California, and the parties consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

16. Updates to This Notice

Johhannas Reyn may update or revise this declaration at any time. The version in effect is the version published at the URL where this declaration appears, identified by the Effective Date at the top of this page. Continued use of Promptin.app after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated declaration.

17. Severability

If any provision of this declaration is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

18. No Waiver

Failure to enforce any right immediately does not waive any right, claim, remedy, or protection. All rights remain fully reserved.

19. Owner Attribution

Johhannas Reyn declares that he is the owner or authorized claimant of the original works described above and reserves all rights in Promptin.app and associated intellectual property.
