Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-05-18

1. Overview

Promptin is a platform for creating, organizing, and sharing prompts. By using Promptin, you agree to these Terms.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for activity that occurs under your account.

3. Intellectual Property

Promptin.app and its underlying software, design, workflow engine, marketplace structure, and authored materials are proprietary to Johhannas Reyn. Your use of the platform is subject to the Copyright & IP Declaration, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference and which governs ownership, permitted use, and prohibited conduct (including AI training prohibitions).

4. User Content

You retain ownership of original prompts, workflows, and other content you create on Promptin. By uploading or publishing content, you grant Promptin a limited, non-exclusive license to host, display, and operate that content as needed to provide the service.

License duration. This license terminates when you delete your content, except for backups retained for up to 30 days as part of routine data-protection practices, and for the minimum period needed to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or investigate abuse.

Marketplace publishing. If you publish content to the Promptin marketplace, you additionally grant Promptin a limited, non-exclusive license to display that content to other users for the duration that it remains published. Unpublishing or deleting the listing terminates this additional license subject to the same backup carve-out described above.

No promotional use without consent. Promptin will not use your prompts, workflows, or other user content for promotional or marketing purposes (e.g., showcasing as an example, featuring on a landing page, including in case studies) without your explicit consent.

Your responsibility. You are responsible for ensuring your content does not infringe any third-party rights, violate any AI provider’s content policy, or breach applicable law. Promptin’s treatment of AI-generated outputs is described in the Copyright & IP Declaration §8.
